Hey all, huge start to this fundraising effort. Thanks so much to those who have pledged so generously. Please spread the word so we can keep it up and bring this thing to fruition -- remember, it's only if we meet our fundraising goal of $4000 that we get the funds and you get the goods. In addition to my band The Russians, I am co-frontman of a rocking little combo called The Great Bandini, and I have toured with the great Graham Parker, Tommy Stinson, The Confidence Men, The Figgs, and Garvy J. What can I say, I like to play. Hey. Anyway...
My songs have been selected by Toyota and Absolut Vodka for promos, and one of them was named "best song" at last year's Boston Music Awards. The Russians were also recently featured as a CMJ.com spotlight artist. I am reserving space in my trophy case for further honors and accolades.
