John: I'm actually going to send emails out and post an update on getting all the remaining rewards out and soliciting feedback on how to properly handle how late certain things have been for you all who've been VERY patient. The goal is to take care of everything over the next 8 weeks if at all possible, and also figure out some extras for those who've been stuck waiting. Things got a bit jacked up and it's honestly a bit difficult to know who got what at this point, but we'll sort things out so that everyone is taken care of.

Just an update for anyone following this ... I did some digging and saw that my warehouse somehow slipped up and didn't ship Andrew's merchandise when I put in the original request, and when he contacted me in October I put in a second shipping request I was told it was "In Process" but never received a tracking number. While I was traveling I neglected to follow up, but I assumed Andrew was taken care of. Andrew should receive his games order, with a few extra copies to help make up for the delay, as of today.
Other rewards have been legitimately delayed but are still moving forward, but everyone should have the card game by now. If anyone's missing their game, please let me know!

Andrew: I just went through our messages, and the last one is from me to you on October 6 of last year. I offered to provide you some extras because of the delay. It's late, I'm not on my work computer, and I honestly don't know what happened. There are other rewards that are delayed but the actual product is not a problem. While I wish you had contacted me again in the last five months, I realize that you not receiving the product you ordered is my responsibility. I'll contact you privately so we can resolve this, whether in the form of getting the product rushed out to you with some extras or in the form of a refund.

No updates since Halloween? I can't imagine why the physical book is taking so long. The ebook has been available for a while now. My wife can get a photo-ready book printed on the Kodak website faster than this.

You can keep the game and use it as you wish, though if you want to help the cause by marking it as DEMO COPY and giving it to a local game store that would be greatly appreciated. (Send me that info as well!) I just need to know who got extras so I can go over the errors with my warehouse folks.

Two conventions back-to-back (Gen Con in Indianapolis and Dragon*Con here in Atlanta) almost killed me, but Heather the Intern and I are back in the office on our normal schedules as of today and we're not going anywhere for over a month. I know some people have questions, need to find out about unfulfilled orders, etc.
A spreadsheet with everyone's shipping info was sent to the warehouse to send out your stuff. If you didn't get anything, we'll follow up with tracking information (for domestic) or simply replace it (with internationals).
For non-US backers, we'll wait about one more week to make sure that the package is truly missing. The shipping times vary so much some people have just gotten their stuff in the last few days and some may be floating around out there.
Only the games have been fulfilled so far. Heather and I are working on posters and t-shirts as our next order of business, and Ben and I are working to get books, alternate and custom cards, and everything else done. This was our first time doing this and we're behind on our schedule, but we're working the kinks out so that we'll be much more on-target the next time! Hopefully when all is said and done everyone will be happy with their stuff.

My wife and I FINALLY played the game (despite receiving it a few weeks ago). It was amazingly fun to play, the design and presentation was perfect, and the instructions were so easy to understand.
We had one question, that I am not sure if you will see this to answer:
With the 4 eye stalk cards, say I put a shot one on the end of my opponents run of tentacles. Can they still build off of it or are these cards exclusively capping cards? We used it as build any way cards.
Also, on the previous note, if I add a break card to the end of a tentacle run. Can the opponent keep building off that break or do they have to fix it first?
These weren't in the manual so I wasn't too sure.
