Good morning everyone! Quick update just to let you know where everything is at.

First, Orc Wars

Kickstarters thrive on word of mouth and I'd like to take a minute and share with you a project I had a small part in: Orc Wars

My best friend Kohl Glass directed this film. Kohl and I met in high school art class and made a pact that we'd devote our lives to creativity and storytelling. I kept my end of it through comics, and he kept his end through film.

Take a minute and check out his project. They need about $8k more to cover the special effects. And if you're curious about what I had to do with it, I designed the dragon they fight at the end.

ComiXology and Antler Boy

You should've received your Comixology Antler Boy code via email either early this week or last week. Double check your spam folder if it didn't show up. If it's not there email me and I'll give it to you. Thanks a ton for the 5 stars to those of your were kind enough rate it.

We're coming up on the 1 year anniversary for when I first launched the Kickstarter for the book and I just want to say thanks for all your support and for sharing this adventure with me. I had no idea this project would have gotten this far.

There's a handful of you my wife and I are still working with, trying to get correct addresses and shipping payments cleared up. But the vast majority of the over 2000 backers have received their rewards and I thank you for all your positive feedback. Makes me excited to launch my next Kickstarter project. (...this May ;) Keep an eye out).

The Antler Boy on Comixology

I'm super excited to announce that the Antler Boy is now on Comixology! If you're unfamiliar with Comixology, it's like iTunes for comics. You can download and read all your favorite comics on any device. Your phone, tablet (both iOS and Android) and laptop are supported, and you can even read your comics in your browser.

Antler Boy is $9.99 on Comixology, but for each of you backers I have a code that you can use to redeem a free copy of the book. In order to use Comixology you'll have to register and make an account with them, and then you can punch the code in and get your free copy. 

I'll be mailing those codes out to you all this week with detailed instructions on what to do to get your digital copy of Antler Boy.

I love Comixology and have been using it for a better part of this last year. If you haven't tried it out yet, sign up and download a comic or two (they have lots of free one's as well) and see how you like it. These days I only have time to read comics as I lay down for bed, so having them on my iPad has been probably the the only reason I've still been able to read anything.

The Last of the Last

Ok, lastly, my amazing wife has been handling ALL the emails related to shipping. Please be nice to her, she's doing the best job she can while still handling two toddlers at home. We are trying to get the last few copies out to everyone, but still don't have a handful of addresses. So if you haven't received your copy yet it's either because we don't have your address, you haven't paid the international shipping, or the post office ate your book. Send us a message and Alison will get back to you and sort it out.

I've been getting tons of photos of people showing off their new Antler Boy books. So glad they made it to you safe. Makes me happy that you get to read and enjoy them now. That was my dream from the start, was to have these stories in one book and in people's homes. THANK YOU for making that a reality!

As of now Antler Boy is delivered to everyone who gave me an address and full payment. There's a few addresses trickling in and those will get shipped as I get the addresses from you.

Digital Download

I know I keep talking about the digital download and not delivering anything on it...yet. But delivery of the print version has taken priority, and now that that's done I can focus on this. Which is what I will be doing next week when I get back from LA.

Hey southern California, I’m coming for a visit this weekend!

My buddy Kazu and I are teaming up with Nucleus for an exhibition of our Kickstarter projects. We’ll be selling artwork & prints, signing books, and doing a panel all about how to run a successful Kickstarter campaign.

This is a must attend event if:

As of this update a bunch of you should've already recieved your books. We shipped out a large batch of the domestic orders earlier this week, and a big chunk of international orders went out today.

The rest of the books and upper tier backers will go out by Friday, if not then next week.

There's still a few who never sent me their address. I'll be contacting you at some point.

Wanted to give you a peak into the shipping process (and what it's done to our house!). My wife and a crack team of shipping specialists from our neighborhood have been handling this entire process. Since we don't have a warehouse several rooms have been upgraded to storage facility status.

Below is the last half of the first day's shipment. The post office didn't send a big enough truck at first. They got it right the next day though.

My wife Alison and her team deserve a heap of praise for what they've accomplished. Over 2000 books, plus all the extra prints and drawings and books is a tough thing to ship no matter how you slice it. 

The digital copy is being worked on and I'll have a pretty cool announcement about that in a week or so.
