Well, we didn't meet our funding goal. After 30 days we raised $871 out of $6,000.

Had we reached our funding goal, your would have been charged at this time for the pledges you made to us. If you would still like to see your pledges go to use, please consider making a direct donation to us through PayPal (Click here).

The amount we raised, while not quite near our full goal, is certainly not chump change. And with the concessions of equipment and software upgrades, this amount is extremely close to the remaining portion of the budget. In other words, if we can keep most of what we've raised we can still shoot "The 'Skirts" without delay.

We're at 11 days remaining, and even with a large pledge a couple days ago we are still quite far from our goal.

I'll be honest, some of the team is getting discouraged. But we're keeping motivated and pushing ourselves to work even harder at it. Because to stop trying is to guarantee failure. And if the campaign doesn't succeed it won't be for a lack of effort.

We have been plastering the city with flyers, spreading the word harder, sacrificing our time and our money to make this work. It's been especially demanding balancing this fundraiser and our pre-production work on the film itself. But we're not slowing down or giving up until that clock hits zero.

Thank you again for your pledges and for your efforts to spread the word. Please don't stop, because we're not going to. We have a film to make!

Hello, everyone. Jack & Jewelz here with your latest update. The video below pretty much says it all, but to sum up, here's a few points...

Everybody who has donated, we love you, and thank you. However, with just $140 tallied up, and a $6000 goal at the end of the next 21 days, we're thinking of some new strategies for this campaign.

The first of which is an elaborate hoax we've devised. Via our facebook page we are running a contest, with it's own prizes. We created a website called http://www.nerveflu.info with emergency information about a spreading viral epidemic. 

Nerve-flu, or neurological influenza, is actually the disease from within our film that caused the mass hysteria that led to the collapse of modern society. A disease which ended up being a lie and never really existing.

So, like in our film, we are recruiting our fans and followers to help us spread the rumor of this deadly outbreak. However, we aren't out to cause a mass panic.. just seeking some publicity. Navigating the website will quickly reveal the hoax and lead to information about our film and our Kickstarter campaign.

The primary objective in the contest is distributing "Outbreak" flyers, with the person who sends us the most creative photo or video of themselves placing around flyers and promoting this rumor, winning a poster & a t-shirt.

Basically guys, it's time for us to get creative and start really thinking outside of the box if we have hopes of completing this fundraiser successfully.

It's not over til' it's over!

Hello, Backers! 

We want to thank everyone who has pledged so far! We're nearly at the $100 mark. There's a long way to go, but we can really build some momentum from here. We are also soon to be featured in a couple articles on post-apocalyptic blogs that will hopefully further our cause. 

To you guys, and to those who have favorited this project, we are overjoyed at the interest our film-to-be has generated thus far. Afterall, it's as much for you as it is for ourselves. This project, donations or not, could not be possible without your enthusiasm for the genre and for what we're trying to bring to it.

We're working hard at the pre-production. Finishing touches are being done to the final draft of the script, test-photography (and soon footage) is being taken, additional locations being scouted, the props we can manage pre-budget are being built, and our full cast is coming together. As time goes on our updates will become more frequent, and we will have more content on our facebook page so that you can really follow our progress from start to completion.
