I wrote my first rap song at age 7 , my mother bought me my first mic at age 10, I stepped foot in a studio the first time to record at age 15, performed my first show at age 16 , recorded my first demo at 17 , and released my first full legnth album in 2008.

It's been 4 years since my first full length album "Blood is the New Black" was released, and I've finally gotten to the point where I feel ready to record another album. Read below to find out why I'm doing this and why I need YOUR help.

Why Kickstarter?

Kickstarter is our way to be involved with you while we work. I could not be more excited to get to hang with you at the studio, guest list you, collaborate with you, or even just e-mail you what I've been working on. YOU are the reason I am doing this today, and Kickstarter is the best way to continue to engage family, friends and supporters in my art.

Why $25,000??!!

I know you are wondering why would a person need so much just for an album.

Well my first album we spent everything out of pocket over the course of 2 years saving and asking for favors that included cutting cost with home studios, buying beats , getting beats for free, and finding other inexpensive ways to get the end result. Well this time I want to take a different approach; I want to do the album I've always wanted to do, with the producers, studio, designs and product I've always wanted to have. A real album budget

I've spent the past 4 years growing as an artist, developing my art, networking with others, building a brand, and trying to impact my community with everything I have. While $25,000 is still small for an album budget, it allows me to support producers, studios, musicians, artist, graphic designers in the same way they have supported me over the years.

With this album I plan to get the help from some of hip hops biggest producers as well as one of the best studios in the country (http://www.treesoundstudios.com/ )

I have also been talking to Nazario Graziano who is an artist from Italy and has agreed to collab with me for the artwork. http://nazariograziano.com/

What happens if I don't reach MY goal?

I WILL STOP RAPPING!!!! lol j/k. This is a huge leap of faith for me, but if I don't meet my goal you will not be charged and everyone keeps their money :)
