What's this all about anyway?
Let us tell you what this is all about. Give us a minute, because its pretty interesting(at least we think so).
We make Wood sunglasses? What? Did I just read that right? Yes, you did. It said Wood. We make wood shades from sustainable wood sources. Wood offers a look and feel that other mediums just can't replicate.
We already have a line of wood sunglasses that we've developed and its been moving off the shelves all over the world. They can be seen on the faces of of stars like Miranda Kerr, Orlando Bloom, New Boyz, Dev, and more. This is both a good and bad thing for a young company starting out. We've had so much demand for our products that we've had to dedicate our resouces and cash flow into the marketing and manufacturing of our current line in order to fulfill our customers needs and the demand on our products. That's left us unable to take the next step on our line expansion.
We've had the desire to add additional models to our line up, we have been working on the perfect model to add to the starting line up for a long time. We think we've finally got it perfected. It's a classic wayfer shillouette. So here's the good part. We are asking you guys to help us fund the manufacturing of the new PROOF Model. With your help we hope to raise enough funds to finish up the final touches on our design, produce it, market it, and release it to the world. And the best part. The kickstarter crew will be the first to recieve the newest Proofs.
So this is the model we are working on and this is what you'd be recieving if the project is funded. Its called the Ontario (Named after our hometown)

It's an all bamboo frame, with springed hinges, only panda bear friendly bamboo used, and a classic shape that is timeless.
So, What's in it for me?
Obviously, we gotta show love where we get it. So, we've developed a ton of cool Rewards so everyone gets something. We are trying to make sure that everyone gets to participate so we are offering rewards that start small so anyone with an allowance can participate and some that require a little more dough, but could put you in the Proof Wood Sunglass business if you have a shop or just want to buy a bunch of Proof shades so you can start a wood sunglass collection.

Who is Proof?
A Little History
The idea for Proof started in my garage when I was trying to create some bamboo ski poles. I couldn't get it right, but did discover the great properties of bamboo and decided it was a medium I wanted to work with.
After some testing and prototyping I came up a couple of models that showed some promise and then started floating them around to friends and it seemed like we were on to something. Soon we were in full production I brought my 2 brothers on to help with the marketing, sales, production, designs etc.
More than Sunglasses
We think that doing good and good business aren't mutually exclusive, that's why we donate a large portion of all sales to non profits we believe in like eye clinics in India, Native American Education, Child Soldier Rehabilitation in Africa, and Reforestation in Haiti.
When we created Proof we knew that doing good had to be at our core. We were already creating something that was different in our product, so creating a company dna that was different seemed to just fit. In addition to the great causes we are involved in we also have the only recycling program in the sunglass industry. We take your used Proofs when you are ready to switch up your style or if your Chubby Aunt Janice ends up sitting on them when you're not looking (You should have never left them in her easy chair) and turn them into repurpoused animal bedding for horses and animals. Not only are you doing good by recycling, but we hook you up with a discount on your next pair of shades. Our little gift for to you for your little gift to Mother Nauture

We like your style. This kickstarter is for the bamboo model only. We do offer a stained bamboo to a limited few. Later down the line we'll release the Ontario in different wood types like ebony, zebrawood, lacewood, etc.
