Hi everybody!
Well, we did it. Poorcraft is funded, WAY funded! And the book is in production; Scripts are written or being written, and pages are being penciled, on their way to ink. We've got several months ahead of us of production, but Diana and I had a talk last night, and we wanted to show our appreciation for the amazing support this project's received.
So, Diana's agreed to give away a deluxe, full-color art commission!
If you've already pledged to Poorcraft, your name's already in the hat. If not, well- why not pledge? You'll get a great book, behind-the-scenes updates, AND a chance to win some beautiful art!
I've attached some examples of Diana's art when she's not drawing in the stripped-down, Poorcraft style. She's an incredible skilled and very versatile artist.
Need a drawing of your RPG character? A portrait of your spouse? A tattoo design? Some concept art? Diana's got you covered. And she wants to draw for you.
We'll pick a winner after the Poorcraft project concludes, on December 20th. Pledge now to be included!
Can Poorcraft get to 200% funded? Probably not! But if it does, I'll throw in a commission, too.
This project successfully raised its funding goal on December 20, 2009.
The minimum contribution grants you access to behind-the-scenes blog posts about the book's development.
The previous reward, plus a cover-to-cover PDF of the finished book.
The previous rewards, plus a hard copy of Poorcraft signed by myself and the artist, Diana Nock.
The previous rewards, plus three MORE hard copies of Poorcraft! Give 'em away to your favorite school, library, or wannabe poorcrafter!
The previous rewards, plus a thank you in the book's acknowledgments. Your name! Your mom's name! Your cat's name! Doesn't matter to me. Spell it out, and in it goes.
The previous rewards, plus a page of original art from the comic! First come, first served.
The previous rewards, plus an appearance on an interior page of Poorcraft! Maybe in a crowd scene, maybe playin' guitar in a garage band, maybe riding the Matterhorn at Disneyland... You'll be in there somewhere.
The previous rewards, plus an appearance on the cover of Poorcraft! We have a lovely picnic scene planned, and I'll save you a spot at the table.
