Just wondering.... will there be additional copies for sale after publishing? I bet once I have a copy in hand, I will find quite a few people who would want a copy of their own...

You know, I've always felt guilty about not giving you money. I love your work and wanted to demonstrate its worth to me -- but honestly I just don't like having stuff that much, and I didn't want to own a book when the whole comic was online. So I'd rather just give you money than buy something. But if I'm giving you money, since there are other people whose work I like I'd better give them money too... and there are just so many of them...

This is why I love the Kickstarter Poorcraft model so much. It gives me a genuine, straightforward means to help you do the stuff I love reading, while arresting the urge to generalize for the sake of consistency. (Nobody else on my list is doing a Poorcraft-y project.) Spread the word -- you've solved a genuine problem here.

While most of the information promises to be more useful within the context of an existing civilization than in trying to build one from scratch, I expect parts of it will be useful to the aspiring space colonist — and not necessarily just during the rough patch before he gets off the ground!
