Twelve - A Short Comedy
Twelve is a short film about the dating woes of a twelve inch tall man. It was written and directed by Jud Pratt.
The film completed principal photography in November and we are now looking for funds to complete post production and to cover the costs of music licensing and film festival submissions.
The music we have chosen from the Associated Production Music (APM) library brings a professional sound to the film that would not otherwise be achievable. The film is funny without the music, but much like films such as "The Royal Tennenbaums" or "Rushmore," the music completes the feel.
The cost of music licensing from APM is pretty reasonable all considering, but it is still more than the filmmakers can afford out of pocket.
We are also seeking to give some compensation to the visual effects artists who are currently working for free.
In addition, we need to cover the costs of DVD duplication and printing costs.
