We've launched an exciting new project of our own! Introducing the Kickstarter app for iPhone!

Angels & Hard Work

Update #4 · Jan 27, 2012 · 4 comments

We realize with eleven days left, the probability of reaching our funding goal is as likely as I will be able to buy a new iPhone 5 when it is released this mid-June.  We are quite confused and have done everything in our powers to raise a stir and put as many eyeballs on our projects as we could.  However, we kind of feel this is a needle in a haystack here at Kickstarter.  There are thousands of projects everyday, and though we spread the word through twitter, Facebook, email, PR, hundreds of emails to tech blogs, families and friends...it looks like it just wasn't enough.

We confess, it does have us scratching our heads?  How do you push the haystack out of the way so the needle can be found?

However, there is a glimmer of hope for us all :)

When I sent out a friendly email to share what we did here, my old landlord (unbeknownst to me) was excited with what we came up with and made an introduction.

This introduction has led to myself preparing an in depth, investor briefing, plan, financials and strategy to launch not just these products, but a series of products this year and over the next three years under a larger umbrella named,  "UB3R Products."

What does this mean?  It means there is a slight chance that his may not end here just because we didn't meet our funding goal, but rather it may become bigger than we anticipated.

For sure it is a long shot, but we are still working hard and if it does pan out, we will want to do something special for those that support us here:)

You never know!

Ryan

Guys, if it helps, you may want to consider breaking up the present project into smaller, more achievable segments, using the first to help bootstrap the whole process. With that first successful project, then you can repeat the successful formula with the others.

Good luck guys. I think at any other time, any one of your products should have been able to make the funding goal on their own (well, maybe not little Ub3r :) ). Since I don't have the big $ to invest I will just have to wait until you and your product get the recognition that is deserved.
