INDUSTRY IS...

Industry Coworking is the new and improved version of what was Lightbulb Coworking.  We opened three years ago, as the first coworking space in Charlotte and have been fortunate to see over 100 people call our space "the office" in that short time. Startups, freelancers, small businesses, students, remote workers and people who don't fit in any category at all have helped to create an incredible community to work and play with.

We have seen that Charlotte not only needs innovative and creative work environments, but that many independents and other non-traditional workers need a place to work, meet, collaborate and make things happen. It's time to take coworking in Charlotte to the next level.

We're doubling our space, making more room for more members and building a space with a much higher level of design, technology, workspace aesthetics and everything our members need to be innovative, creative and productive.

INDUSTRY GIVES BACK...

We are fortunate to be adding a really exciting component to our space!  We have partnered with the Enderly Coffee Company to provide gourmet coffee to our members and develop a retail coffee offering that also sends financial assistance to the homeless right here in our city.  With plans to partner with additional food vendors to compliment our coffee...we're looking forward to keeping everyone caffeinated while also giving back right here in our community!

GETTING INDUSTRIOUS...

We will be using Kickstarter funds to ensure that we can deliver the high level of design, furnishings, functionality and technology that will make our office an incredible place for people to do what they do, whatever that may be.

Our largest needs are funds to fully outfit our new meeting and events space. Our office has a 1000 square foot area that will be set aside specifically for community events, meetups or other functions that help to bring our city together.  We have always provided event space at no charge, helping new and growing organizations to have access to a great environment without unnecessary costs.  

While we are fortunate to have the capital to move into our new building and open the doors, we want to ensure that our members aren't affected by the need to cut corners, limit office amenities or otherwise settle for a less than incredible workplace.
