About this project
We're about to enter our third season of the show which, aside from marking our third year of the podcast, marks our overall seventh year of Indie Street (used to be a broadcast radio show). We're a new music podcast and everything we play is legitimate, meaning: we work directly with the independent artists and labels to promote what's new and exciting in the world of independent music. Additionally, our blog covers indie books, films, and sometimes even food. We want to keep doing this for years to come and we've developed quite a following over the past several years. We've been sent to cover things like the Chicago Independent Film Festival, the Big Ears music festival in Knoxville for two consecutive years, Wizard World Chicago, and the Emerald City ComiCon. In order to keep doing these types of things, we need a little bit of funding. We never ask for money or do fund drives on our show, because we feel it's alienating to the listener. However, to fund our trips, the cost of equipment, and hosting for our third season and not render ourselves completely broke, we turn to you.
