Update #15: It's official...
Update #14: Post Production Updates
So, here were are editing the film. After months of transcriptions and papercuts and rough assemblies, we're on out way to having a rough cut.
We're still filming, too! Here's what we've been keeping up with...
Last week, NYC Street Memorials Group had its 6th Annual Memorial Ride. Jennifer Buntz of the Duke City Wheelmen joined the ride, after spending her week down in DC at the National Bike Summit.
This weekend, we'll be in Albuquerque with the Duke City Wheelmen as they install a ghost bike in memory of Timothy Vollman. Meaghan will be there to document the unfolding ghost bike and bicycle advocacy movement in Albuquerque, following Jennifer and DCWF cofounder Steve Mathias.
The following weekend, Meaghan will be headed out to San Francisco to speak about ghost bikes with cycling advocates and Critical Mass instigators Chris Carlsson and Hugh D'Andrade. She'll also finally get a chance to ride with the SF Bike Party!! So any SJ Bike Partiers who wanna hop the train and say hello, please do!!
That's about it for updates! I'm still working on a new trailer, but I'll be on the road for the next ten days so it likely won't happen before then.
Thank you all for your continued support. If you're on Facebook, you can see my photo updates from the road: http://www.facebook.com/pages/ghost-bikes-film-project/211868551792
best, meaghan
