We are extremely excited to record our first album and offer our music to you. Here's a little taste...
Bardo
Imprints is a group of three versatile musicians somehow brought together from very different parts of the world to make music - ah, the beauty of the workings of the universe. The influences of childhoods in far away lands and the longing for connection through music fuels this unique collaboration. The sound of Imprints resonates on very subtle levels and allocates this immediate moment as a portal to mindful listening.

If you are not familiar with how Kickstarter works:
We must reach our $4000 goal by the deadline, in order to receive any of the pledges. If we don't reach our goal, we get nothing, none of our backers will get a chance to contribute, and we will not get a chance to produce our album. If we exceed our goal, we will be able to add more songs to our album, create a limited edition CD with bonus music, art or make a music video. The sky is the limit!!
We spend months creating the structures and melodies for each of our songs. It is a lengthy process, and we keep writing and rewriting until we are satisfied with the musical ideas we are trying to portray. The free-spirited feeling of our music comes largely from the improvisational sections of the string parts that are recorded directly in the studio. Since we are creating something new every time we press the record button, we pose challenging editing work for our engineers, but we love the process and believe that the music we create this way results in a deeper connection to our audience.
What the funds will make possible:
- STUDIO TIME! We need to record our material.
- Pay our Recording engineer.
- Final Mixing and Mastering of Album.
- Art work for our CD booklet
- CD Production and CD cover printing.
Marta, our violinist is working on the album artwork, inspired by the music and the causes we support. More examples of artwork coming soon!

How Kickstarter Works:
