What's next?
As our fearless editor sorts through footage, we are going to continue fundraising!
We've needed 300 backers to reach $27,000 in just 2 weeks. Do you think we could reach 300 more over the next 4 weeks and hit $45,000?
At this stage, additional dollars will go to making this movie better. Funds raised from here on out will go to developing motion graphics for the film (like those in the teaser) and securing the rights to awesome music and archival newsreel footage. Every dollar more raised will make this movie that much better.
This campaign has succeeded because you all let your friends know about us. Could you continue being the film's best ambassador and tell your friends whom you know want to (or should) give but just haven't gotten around to it?
Here are some reasons you can give them:
- 5. For $5 they can either buy a grande double-pump unsweetened white mocha (soy, of course), or they can give it to us (the money, not the coffee).
- 4. They can clean out the bottom of their purse, their top drawer at work and their sofa cushions, and give that $13 to us.
- 3. That $35 gift certificate you were going to give them on their next special occasion? Donate it to us in their name. If they're not thrilled you did so, well, that's their problem.
- 2. The $50 they were going to spend on a dinner and movie next Friday with their loved one? Well tell them to cook at home and watch Netflix. It'll be more romantic and making mutual sacrifices together will make them closer as a couple.
- 1. The $10,000 they were going to spend to travel the world for 3 months? Well they should go for half that time and take you along too!
