Origins of a Real Life Superhero

Jeeves is overweight and uninspired. He's worked dead-end jobs most of his life. But don't let that fool you...he's about to become a real-life superhero. And we're going to film it!

A superhero's origin story is one of the most critical points for any comic book character, but especially so if that superhero is real. Real-life superheroes have sprung up across the nation in recent years, replete with costumes and gimmicks, but they're mostly comprised of hobbyists without any formal training or mentoring. They're loners, and they normally make headlines for getting beaten up or pepper sprayed by the people they're supposedly saving. But what if a group of specialists got together, raised funds for development and actually trained one of these "superheroes" from the ground up? What if they taught him skills and outfitted him with cutting edge tools? Outside of a comic book, we've never seen what that would look like. We've also never seen a documentary film about an average guy's transformation into a specialist with extraordinary skills and abilities...that is, until now. "Zero to Superhero" will document Jeeves' journey as he:

• TRAINS IN MULTIPLE COMBAT FORMS
• CRAFTS A SUPERHERO IDENTITY AND MISSION
• DEVELOPS A SUIT AND WEAPONS
• CONQUERS HIS WORST FEARS: HEIGHTS, WATER AND PAIN.

And that's where you come in, Kickstarters! We need your pledges to train Jeeves and pay a film company to make the documentary "Zero to Superhero". But we also need you to make decisions for him...

Build Your Own Hero

Part of the film plot is that an anonymous group of supporters known only as "The Horns" are given multiple options for Jeeves' training and vote on which path to take. They make major decisions about his development as a superhero. For example, maybe this week the vote is about whether Jeeves should a) develop an armored superhero costume b) develop a lightweight suit that enables him to be more stealthy or c) develop a suit that's based on a disguise. The Horns discuss the options online, cast their votes and Jeeves moves in that direction. Coolest of all, The Horns are you, his supporters! By becoming a member of The Horns (see Rewards section), you're directly involved in Jeeves' superhero origin story...so choose wisely!

Conclusion

There's never been a film like this. Ever. To be honest, we're not even sure how Jeeves will react to all the hardcore, tactical training. But won't it be incredible to watch him drop tons of weight? Won't it be amazing to see him learn incredible skills and face his worst fears? Won't it be awesome to vote on what kind of hero he becomes?
