FILM SYNOPSIS:

A NAKED HEART is the story of a photographer who casts a young subject for a new photo series. The two embark on a return-to-nature road trip that leads to more than photos - the journey ultimately becomes about the experience of art, life, and letting go. A NAKED HEART explores preconceived ideas people have about one another and the struggle to achieve the quietness and beauty of just "being."

WHY WE NEED YOU:

A NAKED HEART is an very ambitious film that we are very excited to be producing ourselves with YOUR help! The funds raised for A NAKED HEART will help cover the costs of equipment rentals, post production, promotion and distribution to film festivals both nationally and internationally.

MY FIRST SHORT FILM SUN IN MY MOUTH:

RAISING THE GOAL TO REACH $4,000+

The original Kickstarter goal that we have reached covers the amount of the actual production cost but we would like to share with you what can be accomplished with a $4,000+ budget. 

While we are using a lot of our own equipment and relying on colleagues to volunteer their time and expertise for the actual production, there will be some other post-production costs that will need to be met after the actual filming wraps.

WHAT ARE THE POST PRODUCTIONS COSTS?

Editing
: This will cover the cost for additional colorist and editing facilities to make A NAKED HEART a beautiful piece of cinematic art.

Sound Mastering: We want to professionally master the entire soundtrack, and in order to do so we will need to hire a professional sound mixer.

Music
: We are in the processes of working with a composer and we would really like to pay for these services to insure that this film has an amazing original score!

Closed Captioning: Providing the opportunity to view this completed film across globe is very important to us.  Therefore making this picture available to both the hearing impaired and international countries will require a little extra funding on our part. 

Other Expendables: We need someway to store all this amazing footage that will be captured.  To do so we will need media storage and a lot of it!  This includes memory cards and hard drives.

Online Presence
: The cost of server space and webmaster fees to insure that anakedheart.com is fully functional and up to date with latest content and newsfeeds is extremely important to have covered in order for your viewing pleasure.
