It was a busy summer. Between shipping games in our day jobs and bringing Idle Thumbs back to life we are finally ready to send out the physical goods and cast a ruined pod along with regularly update the new http://www.idlethumbs.net as we have been for a couple months now. We are over the moon.

Your rewards are being sent out this week!Thank you for your patience (as you may have heard on the cast) and we hope they were worth the wait (although the LP is going to be sent out individually, in the coming months). The shirts are of the utmost quality, the stickers stick, and I think you'll love having this art somewhere (prominent) in your home.

You can check what address you gave us by clicking on the tier you backed at on the main page. Sean is going through the recent influx of messages and is sending the list to the to the fulfillment house on Tuesday, so make sure you've updated your address via a kickstarter message to us by then if you need to. (Please don't send us a message unless you need your address changed! If you sent us a message to do so, I promise we got it!)

You've heard a lot about this fancy new website we're building and rest assured it will be quite fancy. But the more we thought about it the more we realized we could continue to build our dream site while not depriving you of the pods you so generously gave to receive. So for a little while www.idlethumbs.net will look a lot like it does now, except more...blog-ish. It'll keep you up to date on the cast, events and continue to host our fantastic community; a lot like the old site did. Meanwhile, we'll work tirelessly to give you the site you deserve and, consequently, the site that will be home of Three Moves Ahead, the book cast and future endeavors.

In immediate other news:

• Thirty Flights of Loving will be on Steam! If you backed us at $30 and above you'll be receiving your Steam key via email which will get you the game with the exclusive and coveted Goldblum mode.
• We will be QUAKECON on August 5th! A live show in the real state of Texas.
• We will also be at PAX! If you have passes, come to our panel Friday morning.

All we can say is thanks and we'll do our best to do right by you guys.

Progresscast #15 is here!

Tier Changing: Complete

As we said in the last update, we're now about to start manufacturing all of the various hard goods rewards -- shirts and art prints are going to press! That means that we're locked as far as after-the-fact tier updating goes. 

If you wrote us in the last few weeks to bump yourself up to a higher tier after the Kickstarter campaign ended, and you've heard from us, thank you very much!

If you didn't but still wanted to, sorry the deadline has passed, as we've gotta print this stuff. That said, we're looking into making more things like those Kickstarter rewards in the future, so keep your eyes on the site.

Moving or Address Change?

Though changing around your backing tier is done, if you have moved or want to change your shipping address, please do send us a Kickstarter Message and let us know! There's a little wiggle room on that as we haven't printed and shipped yet.

NOTE: You can check the address you submitted by following the link at the bottom of your reward tier over in the list of tiers to the right. If it already reflects the correct address, you don't need to contact us.

Digital Rewards Incoming

• The digital rewards -- Thirty Flights of Loving by Blendo Games and the Idle Thumbs wallpaper pack by Alex Griendling -- are getting ready to go out, so prepare yourselves for that!

• With rewards on their way, that means this is the last week to manually adjust your tier! If you want to bump yourself up to a higher tier to get more stuff, please do it soon! To move up to a different backer tier, just send us a Kickstarter message ASAP. Thanks!

Saturday Morning Stream: BioShock

In non-Kickstarter news, we'll be doing another Saturday morning stream tomorrow, Saturday, June 23rd. We'll be playing through a chunk of BioShock 1, and we'll be joined for running commentary by one of its designers, JP LeBreton (who astute listeners may remember from Idle Thumbs 14: Interface with the Animus). You can check it out on the Idle Thumbs Twitch.TV channel, tomorrow morning at about 11am Pacific Time.

Progresscast 14 Exists

Hello, friends. It has been too long since last we met. Please accept this offering of an hour-long Progresscast. We will strive to be more regular in our communication going forward.

There was a lot of discussion on this cast about an amazing decade-long (in real-world time) game of Civilization II, as recounted by the player. You've probably read it already, but if you haven't, please do!

On the Kickstarter side of things, all backer surveys have now been sent out, and many have been sent back, so we are in the final stretch of getting this stuff produced. It's exciting!

The main exception is the vinyl record, which will have a longer total production period than expected, so we'll be sending that out as a separate shipment to backers at the $200 level and above rather than delaying the rest of the shipments for those tiers. 

This is a public cast, so feel free to share it or do whatever you do with podcast episodes usually!
