Funding raised will go to pay for recording, mastering, creating and printing graphics and artwork for the covers; as well as licensing, manufacturing and distribution costs. Any extra funds will go directly into the project to increase its quality every step of the way.
The Classical Guitar repertoire is rich with music from all over the world. This CD project is a compilation of Classical Guitar Music by composers from Hawaii.
Barrios, Leo Brouwer and Villa-Lobos are some of the greatest guitar composers of all time. Their music is among the most entertaining and memorable repertoire in existence. Much of their success comes from an organic combination of traditional music and classical, resulting in music that any audience can enjoy.
I have collected guitar music from wonderful composers Byron Yasui, Michael Foumai, Jeff Peterson, Darin Au, and Bailey Matsuda. My goal is to record and distribute this repertoire.
