About this project
We've made a feature film and now it's time to send it off to the film festivals. We're very proud of our final product--the entire film was shot for $10,000. I'm the director and also a high school English teacher, and I financed the entire film off of a personal loan. I've started submitting to festivals, but after the loan payments are deducted each month, it's hard to make ends meet. We need help to submit to at least ten festivals, and hopefully more.

THE PLOT
Something happened.
During a long distance phone call from L.A. to Nashville, Jordan believes that the absolute unthinkable has happened to his girlfriend Cassie. She had been oddly aloof, distant and cheerfully apart from him until she was just screams, sobs and shouts as Jordan listened from the other end, miles away.
Nothing Happened.
Riddled with fear, Jordan, along with his friend Calvin, drive cross country as he frantically tries to reach Cassie. Though Cassie is not quite the same. Strangely bitter and oddly distant, she protests and demands that he return home. Jordan's world dims as he tries to make sense of what he believes he heard and his girlfriend's peculiarly abrupt end of their relationship.
The Worst Happens.
The journey becomes elusive and darkness is illuminated as Jordan and Calvin struggle with strangers and the tangled road of thorns. Enemies become friends and the opposite occurs. Jordan and Calvin find that the bonds of their own friendship are constantly tested and they both clutch desperately at what they believe to be best in the murky waters.
