If you'd rather read from a book, Flipbook Island offers the support necessary to teach classrooms how to make a flipbook using the methods described in the blog. I believe that everyone has a right to pursue happiness by finding a career doing something they're good at. The only condition is that it should be good for society as well. I think we are all capable of discovering who we really are through this process, and I feel especially fortunate to have been given this opportunity through Kickstarter.
I learned how to draw these things on my own. And that's great, but I want to save you some time. Just as I have discovered the secret location of Flipbook Island doesn't mean it needs to be a secret anymore. Online, there are references I drew about how to save time and avoid mistakes. Essentially, it's a map to the island.
The "island" is a metaphor for a self-contained creative world. You can use my methods and apply it to your own drawings. That's the only way to join the nation of Americans and global citizens who are capable of creating their own animations, empowering all of us to a new plateau of communication.
