We're just waiting on painted minis, which should be done in a short while, so that we can finish up the final box art and ship them out. If anyone is antsy, we have a few versions that we did for Adepticon, without the final artwork for the covers or stat cards, and we'd be glad to send them out, just send us a message on here. Otherwise, we're hoping to ship all the rest of them within a month. 

Here are some images of the Stitcher and Drifter box set models, as well as the security agents.

Reclaimers are shipping to us from France this coming week, and those will enter into production as soon as we get them.

We are working on getting additional funding for our hardcover book, but we are almost done with the editing, and as a stop gap measure, here's what we plan to do:

We're going to get a small amount of soft cover books printed and done before Gen Con, to send out to Kickstarter folks and to have to sell. In the meantime, we're working on getting investors lined up, and we will be sending everyone who pledged for a rulebook a soft cover book, plus a coupon for the hardcover when it comes out. You can keep it for yourself, give it to a friend, etc... that way, we will be giving you 2 books for the price of one, as our apologies for being late and under-estimating both our time and the money it would take to produce. We hope that this will be appealing to everyone, and we want you all to know that we take the responsibility of this kickstarter very seriously... We sincerely hope that it's all going to be worth the wait.

We just got back from Adepticon, and it was a fantastic weekend. We met a ton of people, ran a ridiculous amount of demos, and played 3 really fun multi-table games with 4-10 people in them.

Right before the con, we got shipped the Drifters and Stitchers, however the final artwork isn't ready, because our painter Sam (who won a golden brush at Adepticon) didn't have all of the minis for each box set. So we whipped up some art to sell the sets at the con.

If anyone is feeling antsy, and wants them shipped in the Adepticon packaging, without the regular stat cards and artwork, please let me know and we'll get them out to you. 

Now for some really good news: The Reclaimers have been found, and should be shipping back to us next week, via a delivery service. They were lost somewhere in between for almost 6 months, so we're pretty excited about this news.

Expect to see those done about a month or a month and a half after we receive the sculpts in the mail. We'll keep everyone updated.

More book news next week. We're catching our breathe after 5 days of 5 hours of sleep or less.

Here's a bit on one of the factions known as the Vale, and a WiP image of the visual end of the character development.

The members of the death cult known as the Vale believe that humanity has run its course. Some of the cult believe they are the rightful heirs of the planet, others believe that all mankind needs to end (others first), while still others believe that they are the harbingers of death, sent to this earth by the gods in space, to finish the work started nearly 2 centuries ago, of ridding the planet of human life.

After the Exodus, and after the collapse of the 'Push, are times when death cults flourished like never before. Many of these cults saw death as the only option, and in many cases, for the starving and destitute, they may have had a point. However, very few lasted beyond a couple of years, for fairly obvious reasons.

However, one such cult has maintained a pervasive grip on the hearts and minds of those in the North American wastes... the Vale. They maintain a network that rivals that of the Reclaimers, and a ruthless quest for death that is unmatched, even among the most brutal charioteers and and warlords of the Western Wilds.

The years following the collapse were some of the most trying for the human race, and the the need to escape from the doldrums and misery are higher than ever before, which is how a group that rejects reality completely is so appealing to so many. The Vale is a tapestry cut from every cloth seen in Year Zero- the cult is comprised of disillusioned Stakers, heretic Reclaimers, banished No Ghosts, (overly) psychotic Stitchmen and every shade of wanderer and lost soul that are to be found.

The book is progressing every day, and we'll have a couple of chapters done and laid out very soon, so that we can post and show that level of progress. Editing has been a real bottleneck for us, as many of the editors that we've worked with have taken several months to get their projects back to us. But we are making significant progress. We'll have something a little more substantial to show on the core rulebook very soon.

We've been busy beavers over here at Hyacinth, We're working diligently on getting the parts of the book edited that we have written, and art has been rolling in for months. The vast majority of the art is something we're keeping in the can for now, as we don't want you to open the book for the first time, and not have any surprises, but trust us on this, there are piles of great artwork we have already done. Just to show and prove, here's a work in progress shot of the cover art, being worked on by our good friend Kostas. And we're also showing you the front box art for the Stakers box set.  More art soon!

Additionally, we'll be sending out surveys tomorrow or Sunday.

First off, we have two new Hunter greens that will be going into the box set for the Stitchers. We still have one more model that needs to get started for that box set. 

We just got the Stakers in, and we'll be sending out surveys early next week. Please indicate what box set you want, if you only ordered one, but if you ordered 2 or more, please be aware that they will be going out in waves as we get them completed.

Next up is the Drifters, which we need one more model sculpted for, then the Stitchers, which also need 1 more model, and finally the Reclaimers, which unfortunately were lost somewhere in France's postal system, so we'll need to get that entire box re-done.
