Update #5: Trailer + Screening in KL, Malaysia
Hi everyone!
We had a very successful screening last January in Culture Fix NYC, Lower East Side! Not only was it a full house, but we also got a lot of positive response and constructive feedback!
Now the film has travelled to Malaysia and we are very excited to show it to all of our backers! Please don't forget to include your mailing address as we will be sending out the invites soon.
For now, this is the trailer that we just recently released through the website www.wayangworks.com.
Enjoy!

Just a quick update - to those of you who are in New York, do drop by Culture Fix (9 Clinton St) in the Lower East Side this Thursday night (Jan 13)for the screening of a preliminary cut of the film! We are very excited to be showing in New York for the first time, and hope that many of you will come and join us!

Update #3: WRAPPED!
Hi everyone!
Just wanted to drop a quick note about our latest update!
After a massive delay with an actor situation, we are glad to announce that we are OFFICIALLY WRAPPED on the production of 'Hujan Panas' (Afternoon Rain)!!! It was a grueling six day shoot from Nov 1-6th in all parts of New York City, but fortunately everything went very smooth.
Will definitely post stills from the shoot on our website, www.wayangworks.com once we get hold of them from the official photographer on set.
In the mean time, thanks again to every single one of you -- each dollar was definitely put on screen and everything turned out as beautiful as we had imagined it.
We'll keep you posted!
Update #2: Updates!
Hi everyone!
We would like to personally extend our utmost gratitude to everyone who signed up as a backer. As most of you are all aware, we surpassed the target goal of $3500 and managed to accumulate a grand total of $3915 on September 15, 2010.
After Amazon Payments/Kickstarter fees, we're very, very happy to inform that the funding has been released (after a 14 day hold on Amazon Payments) into our account. We feel very fortunate and blessed, as this will help production immensely!
Right now the production team is knee deep in the pre-production phase. We will be updating our website, www.wayangworks.com with ongoing progress on Hujan Panas - our growing creative team members, pictures from our recent location scout, and news on the audition sessions as we push closer to production.
Thank you everyone so much for being so, so generous and sending us good vibes. We will keep in touch for the goodies we promised in return for your kind pledges!
Terima kasih semua!!!
