What is Hoverboard?
Hoverboard is a 5 minute short film about a young girl who, after watching Back to the Future II, tries to create a real, working hoverboard. With the help of her stuffed teddy bear and her imagination, she tries to make her very own hoverboard.
What is the status of the project?
The film has already been shot and edited but we are still seeking finishing funds for post-production. Basically, we've come 90% of the way but we need your help to get us across the finish line!
How will my donation be used?
What is included in that final 10%? Quite a bit, actually. Your donation will help to cover costs of the following:
- Color Correction
- Audio Mixing
- Music Composition
- Visual Effects
- Licensing Fees for use of Back to the Future property
- Film Festival Submission Fees
Our goal is to get this film into film festivals, and out into the world. With your help, we can make it a reality!

About the Production
The film was shot in November, 2011 in Albuquerque, NM and stars a very talented young actress named Magdalena Begay. Below are some photos taken during the shoot (some of which will be included in our photo album), and should give you an idea of the look and feel of the film. We had a great time making this movie, and your contribution can help us get it out into the world.
