Kickstarter

Hey guys!

As some of you may know, my band Household Names just released our third album online, called "Stories, No Names". We would like to promote said album with two videos. While we would like to make a video for every song on the record, for this initial push we are planning to make two.

The videos will be directed, shot and edited by Marc Brown. Marc is a fantastic Austin photographer and videographer who has already done some excellent work for us in the form of promotional photos for our website and the cover of the record. He is very talented and professional and we are excited to have him on board with this project. Please visit http://vimeo.com/album/127870 for examples of Marc's great videos, in addition to watching the above. Marc shot and edited this video in a couple of hours one Sunday. If it took him no time to do something that looks this good, we can only imagine how amazing our final projects will be. We have a few ideas for these new videos, but they are sketches right now. The important thing to remember is that a music video functions as an invaluable promotional tool.

All donations that we receive from kickstarter will go into equipment rental, purchases (such as tapes) and Marc's compensation for directing the project. All donations over the project's goal will be used to fund a national publicity campaign. WE WOULD LIKE TO REITERATE THAT IN MAKING A PLEDGE TO THIS PROJECT, YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED UNTIL THE PROJECT'S FUNDING END DATE JUNE 9 AND THEN ONLY IF THE $2500 PLEDGE GOAL HAS BEEN REACHED).
