Hey friends, we need your help! The music industry is expensive. Our last album, "A Condescending Lullaby", cost well over $4000 to launch. Although we were pleased with the final product we had to cut corners in many areas of production due to budgetary constraints. We want this next album to wow the socks off of our adoring and deserving fans. This calls for bigger budget, more time spent recording, and the luxury of being meticulous.
We're not very excited to be begging our loyal supporters for their hard-earned money. Over time we've stockpiled a large chunk of dough to put towards the album but it's simply not enough. The costs associated with recording, production, artwork, and replication are a tall order to fill. We need your help to make a record that we will be proud to submit to record labels and hopefully make this dream a realization.
We know everyone is feeling the pressure of a slow economy but we are asking for your assistance now. Any amount will help. HOWEVER, DO NOT DONATE IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT! How will you buy Nick drinks if you spend your last dollar on the production of our upcoming album?
Why support our project?
We want to make this happen immediately and know that you all love us enough to support this goal! You folks have repeatedly been a part of the dream since day one. We cannot recall a single opportunity that did not all stem from our loyal n' large group of supporters.
SOMETHING YOU SHOULD ALL KNOW:
If we don't meet our goal amount of $5000 we get absolutely nothing and no one is charged a dime. So, help us make it happen! There are a lot of fun rewards to choose from for supporting our cause, or you can donate an amount of your choosing forgo reward. Every little bit will help. Share this project with your friends, family, jealous stalker ex-girlfriends/boyfriends, and clergy men! Spread the word and convince your loved ones to be part of the movement.
The amount $5000 is our bare minimum necessary to make this album great. We assume it will hit at least triple platinum. If we exceed this amount we will put the extra money towards additional studio time, several equipment needs to expand live performances for album promotion, and Lisa's addiction to Starbucks tea. We are praying to reach well over $5000 but we don't want to seem too greedy by setting the bar astronomically high. What we get, if anything, is all up to you folks.
You will see a second album in the future regardless of the outcome of this fundraiser. However, we plan to do it right and save up the needed amount no matter how much time it takes. We prefer the now however. We hope our support group feels the same!
