Update #5: Wrapping up this Phase

Posted on August 8, 2009

The 99 image photo set is nearing completion.

I just hit up our "idea" backers who have pledged to help select subjects for my final photos.

Another 15 or so images have just been uploaded, and I have plans to hit the produce stand this coming week to add a seasonable batch of flavor to the image pool. You can check out the full set and comment on the images here:

Thanks again to all the great backers!

Update #3: Thank You!

Posted on July 16, 2009

Thank you everyone for believing in this little project and helping nudge it forward. To my surprise (and excitement!) we achieved 215% funding through 11 Backers. We'll be producing 6 sets of business cards in our exclusive run before opening up the licensing of the photo set to the world.

Stay tuned for more updates here and on my blog (http://www.keithhopper.com) with progress on the project. I'm really looking forward to hearing from the backers that want a say in what photos get taken and working with MOO and a designer to get the ball rolling on producing the first exclusive run of cards.

Thanks again everyone!

-Keith

Update #2: Video Introduction to the Project!

Posted on June 21, 2009

My buddy Anthony and I shot this introductory video when we launched the project and I finally got around to editing and posting it. Turns out you can't put an intro video on your main project page after you've launched the project - you can only put it on an update page. Doh!

Update #1: Image Library Growing!

Posted on June 1, 2009

97% backed in just over a week! Thanks to everyone willing to take a risk on this little experiment.

To prove I'm as committed as these brave backers, I've uploaded five new images to the background textures photo set.

Some of the 53 images in there are better than others, so have a look and let me know what you think by commenting or using the flickr favorites feature:

Stay tuned for more planned updates around backer suggestions, new uploads, and more.

Don't hesitate to post in the comments area about this project - I'd love any feedback or suggestions.
