HONOR SOCIETY has always been an inclusive band, not an exclusive one when it comes to our fans and supporters. From when we were touring house parties in a mini-van, to our wild ride on a major label, we've given ourselves freely to our fans because this journey wouldn't be nearly as rewarding or fulfilling without you.
With that said, we are starting this Kickstarter project because we want to include you in our next creative endeavor and we need your help to ensure that for the remainder of 2012, we can deliver NEW MUSIC and LIVE SHOWS to our fans old and new!
We've already begun recording brand new original music! We're actually writing this project description from the studio, where we're working with Grammy-winning producer Mike Mangini (Joss Stone, David Byrne, Bruce Hornsby) and it's going really, really well...like...really well. And being an independent band at the moment, we don't have the resources a record label would normally provide, so funding to complete and deliver this new music is where YOU come in to the picture. Your pledge dollars will help us finish our NEW EP and every pledge reward from $5 to $100 includes a digital download of the NEW EP (and a bunch of other awesome stuff, duh.)
We're going on tour in July & August with Allstar Weekend, however there are a lot of cities that aren't part of the tour. We want to keep the tour going once the main leg is done so we can hit those cities and bring the music to you. Below is a list of the current tour dates - you can find ticket links and more info at our website: http://www.honorsocietymusic.com We plan on adding more dates during the course of this Kickstarter project...that's what this is all about!
Also, if you pledge $3,500, we'll come to your town and play a private acoustic show for you (a la our groundbreaking Under the Sun / Under the Stars Tour back in the day) and if you pledge the ultimate $10,000 we'll play a private full-electric concert for you and your friends!!

Lady GaGa has her "Little Monsters", Bieber has his "Beliebers" and we have YOU. The "Honor Society...enators"? the Honor Society-ites"? We'll work on the nickname but we'll be working on the music and live show first haha.. just know that we love you and we truly appreciate your support.

Yes! Unfortunately, Kickstarter does not allow you, the backer, to choose multiple rewards, but we figured out another way to do it. Read on...
If you want more than one reward, just make sure that you're pledge amount covers the multiple rewards you want. When you pledge (or increase your pledge) just make sure you choose one of the rewards you want, just like normal. Then at the end of the Kickstarter project (July 29th), we will send you a questionnaire in which you'll be able to tell us that you pledged extra money for multiple rewards. When you respond to the questionnaire, please indicate which additional rewards you'd like to receive. We keep close track of all our backers, their pledge amounts and the rewards they select, so when we receive you're questionnaire response, we'll be able to verify your pledge amount and your additional rewards.

Please don't bring friends...unless they also pledged $100 and selected the same {DAY-OF-SHOW VIP EXPERIENCE} reward! If you bring friends, it diminishes the "VIP" aspect of the experience and it's not fair to other people that pledged.

Then you're going to have to wait until next time we come through your area on tour. Sorry! We THOUGHT we were going to be able to honor these VIP rewards for the first few shows of tour (before the Kickstarter campaign ends), BUT unfortunately with the way Kickstarter is set up, no rewards can be given out before the end of our campaign. So, if you get the {DAY-OF-SHOW VIP EXPERIENCE} reward for Agoura Hills, San Francisco, Phoenix or Denver, then you'll have to wait until next time...which shouldn't be too long, so don't worry. At the VERY LATEST, your VIP experience will be delivered by September, 2013, as indicated in the reward description.

Sure! When our Kickstarter campaign ends on July 29th, we'll send out a questionnaire to everyone that pledged to get more information, including your contact info and the day/city you want to attend the VIP event.

Yes. We expect a small group of VIPs in each city and we'll all get together and hang. We'll get your contact information at the conclusion of the Kickstarter campaign and let you know what we're doing when we get to your town.

Yes. We will contact you at the end of the Kickstarter campaign with a brief questionnaire and you'll be able to give us some details about stuff like this.

Our schedule is kind of crazy, so the short answer is NO. The longer answer is that we'll do our best to bend to your schedule, but ultimately, we'll have to coordinate with each other to find a mutually-agreed-upon time. Cool?

Possibly! It depends on where in Canada you are. It might be tough for us to get up to Nova Scotia or places way up north, but if you live in a major Canadian city that's close-ish to the US, then we'll do our best to make it work. Not necessarily. The $20 pledge reward {THE 2FER} includes everything in the lesser-value rewards. However, the $25 thru $150 pledge rewards include only the {MUSIC FROM THE VAULT} package in addition to the specified pledge reward. All rewards over $150 include only what's specified in the reward description and NONE of the lesser rewards packages.

It means you get the specified reward, PLUS everything in the {MUSIC FROM THE VAULT} package. For example, the $50 {POSTCARDS FROM THE ROAD} reward package gets you the 4 postcards, PLUS the following digital downloads, which are included in the {MUSIC FROM THE VAULT}:
