Holy Hikes needs your help!

“There is no such thing as ‘human community’ without the earth and the soil and the air and the water and all the living forms. Without these, humans do not exist. In my view, the human community and the natural world will go into the future as a single sacred community or we will both perish in the desert.”

These words of the Reverend Thomas Berry echo the deep truth that the future, not just for humanity, but for this entire planet depends upon healing our relationship with the nature world. Holy Hikes is a ministry in the San Francisco Bay Area committed to affirming and rebuilding our connection with the earth and the other life forms that the share it with us. We gather monthly to celebrate Creation and worship God in the beauty of the outdoors. Change will come with legislation and cheaper green products, but transformation will come as we reestablish our communion with all of life.

Will you help support this endeavor to produce, publish, and promote a DVD on Holy Hikes to help spread the word to those nearby who do not know about this ministry? 

We hope to grow. We hope to eventually hold retreats, workshops, programs for youth, and eventually found an intention Christian eco-village. This will come, one step at a time. Supporters will receive a free copy of the DVD, and donations over $100 will be listed by name in the credits for the DVD.
