Hi there,
My name is Gary E. Bartlett. I'm the creator and Executive Producer of the Annual Holiday Promenade of Stars™ Parade.
For the 1st three years, we've self-financed 80% of the parade with limited sponsorships. Now with the economic down turn, we had to postpone the parade in 2011.
The Holiday Promenade of Stars™ is an annual parade, which took place in Branson, MO for it’s first three years. It has since outgrown itself due to the infrastructure of the city, prompting the new move in 2012 to Kansas City, MO.
Our Goal is to make the Holiday Promenade of Stars™ parade the largest parade in the Midwest.
When I ask people to name a parade on the east coast, they say “Macy’s”.
When I ask to name a parade on the west coast they say “The Rose Parade”
When you ask them to name one in the Midwest, they have trouble. Soon, it will be: “The Holiday Promenade of Stars™"
This parade will feature some of today’s top musical artists and celebrities.
We will be utilizing the same route as the American Royal Parade. We’re doing that for numerous reasons. The Kansas City officials have a history with it. The parade will start at Grand and Pershing and end at Truman and Grand.
The parade will also feature stars from some of the nations hottest shows, popular recording stars, special cameos, breathtaking floats, and mega balloons sponsored by national businesses and advertisers. Our contributors really appreciate a great show that can air twice in the holiday season. Once on Thanksgiving day, and then a rebroadcast on Christmas day.
Every year, the Holiday Promenade of Stars™ continues to grow in it's visual dynamics and dazzling presentation. It continues to hold the honor of being one of the largest parades of its kind to be broadcast internationally.
Up until now, this project has been self-financed and with limited corporate sponsors. Our Goal is to RAISE money.
Mario Lopez and Carrie Tillis will be hosting this year’s television event.

Gary began his entertainment career as a magician. He is a graduate of the Hollywood Film Institute and a member of the National Association of Television Producers and Executives. His production career began as a technical director, touring for four years with David Copperfield Live (along with corresponding network specials). Gary has worked extensively in the Las Vegas entertainment arena, including shows for Caesars Magical Empire and major stage productions like Enter The Night. Being an illusionist, Gary often consults with world-class magicians like Penn and Teller, Lance Burton and The Pendragons.Gary's former company, Bartlett Entertainment Group, brought producers and talent together on a wide variety of stage and television projects, furthering the careers of numerous stage and television artists.
Gary holds the title of Nevada Businessman of The Year 2003.
