Hoboe is a band featuring an amplified oboe, hoping to spread the gospel of rock oboe to the world... as well as our trumpet-playing drummer (yes, he plays simultaneously), and other assorted bizarre sonic eccentricities, etc., etc.
We have recorded and mixed our debut CD, a work that we think will impress many... if we can get it out.
We need it mastered by the experts, and to get it in your hands, in radio stations and across the world.
But Hoboe being Hoboe... well... for what we are lacking in funds we are wealthy with in talent... and we know that you, our fans know this... but... we can't sit back any longer and keep ourselves only to those that catch us live.
THIS IS A BIG DEAL FOR US!!! Hoboe is a decade in the making; the musicians on this CD have perfected the rock oboe sound so fine that we are anxious to spread it far and wide, to deliver oboe to the doorsteps of rock and roll once and for all.
We ask fans and oboe maniacs afar to help us make this hurdle, to propel us to a new level, so we can get this art out there and leave our footnote in rock history, oboe history.
