About this project
PURPOSE
Help me define a New Space in Hip-Hop Music!!!!
This album will mix influences from various musical genres & it's instrumentation including: String Section (Classical Era), Horn Section (Big-Band Jazz/Funk Era), Vocal Harmony Trio (Doo Wop Era) and mix all of these styles together in Hip-Hop with the Human-Beatbox, instead of using drum sets. I'm a firm believer that music can be used as tool to educate & introduce diversity through diverse instrumentation, lyrical content, etc. On this album, I want to provide that while creating songs that promote dancing & having a good-time!!!!
PROCESS
The Album's working title is Hip-Hop Unplugged. I will start rehearsals with musicians and recording the project in August, featuring 10-12 original songs/compositions. Once the recording is finished, the project will move into the mixing/mastering phase. Upon completion, a Graphic designer steps into the picture & collaborates with me on the packaging design and we send it off to get Duplicated & Manufactured. After the creation Phase of the project, you'll get YOUR copy and a PR & Marketing Staff will be hired to assist with the promotion and exposure of the album, so I can TOUR!!!!

Christylez Bacon (pronounced: chris-styles) is a GRAMMY Nominated Progressive Hip-Hop artist and multi-instrumentalist from Southeast, Washington, DC. As a performer, Christylez multi-tasks between various instruments such as the West African djembe drum, acoustic guitar, and the human beat-box (oral percussion), all while continuing the oral tradition of storytelling through his lyrics.
