The purpose of the project:

My purpose in creating the Good Karma Rap Album is to use music as a way to encourage people of all ages, particularly young people, to practice and receive the benefits of mindfulness and spirituality.

When will the album be ready?

As soon as the project is funded, the album will be released one song at a time, beginning in August. This will help build momentum for the entire project and any profits made from the first songs will help promote the later songs. The people who help fund this project will get the songs before they are available to everyone else. The the last song will be released before the end of 2012.  

How is it going to be marketed?

Most of the money allocated for marketing will be spent on hiring a team of interns to help me contact 1000's of organizations that either serve youth or open minded spiritual people. We will encourage the leaders of those organizations to buy the album so they can share it with their organization. A smaller amount of money will be spent on hiring a music promotions company to help bring the music to more traditional hip hop listeners.
