Making your first comic can be quite the learning experience. Thanks to everyone for their patience. If you missed the last update, we lost our artist, Gio Timpano who finished two of the four issues. It's taken a bit, but we do have new artist Emerson Dimaya on board now and he is looking to finish the final two issues by April.
This, of course, puts a big delay in all of your promised rewards. You'll continue to get the digital versions as they're completed. I'm hoping to have issue #2 finished by the end of the month. Things should go faster after that.
Any digital rewards (like the eBook) will come out around the time of the final issue. The print version will probably be ready by June along with the rest of the rewards. As for artist-specific rewards, all the prints already exist, so what you requested is all good. For those getting an artist sketch, I'm working with Gio to have him finish out these requests.
A few folks missed issue #1. I'm going to include it again when I send out issue #2. So don't worry, you'll get it very soon.
Thanks again for your support. Honestly, if not for the 300+ folks waiting on these books and rewards, I probably would have given up by now. Just knowing I have backers has really pushed me through a series of setbacks on this project. I think you'll like it. Especially issue #3, which has at least one beheading.
I have two other comic book projects in the works. Hoodlum by Alterna Comics and Volgarr Begins (a prequel to the upcoming videogame Volgarr the Viking). I'm going to do my best to mix in a few special things from these two while you wait.
Speaking of which, here's the cover for Hoodlum #1 (out in mid-February). The cover is done by Emerson, so it's an early look at what his style and what you can expect from Golem #3 and 4.
