Spring Update! VB Needs Your Ideas & New Tools Coming Soon
Happy spring! It’s been a while since we’ve been in touch and we have a few requests and updates for you.
- We’ve made some tweaks to our site so now anybody can request a code to check out Visual Budget. So please encourage your friends to check us out and give us their feedback.
- Visual Budget’s gone social! The best way to keep up with our work is to follow us online. We are on Facebook,Twitter and Google+
- Where do you stand on military spending? Or income taxes? Need a point of reference? In the coming months, we’re going to have academics and policy analysts from across the political spectrum present their views in the form of an audio voice-over synced to Visual Budget’s animated charts and graphs. Stay tuned! We’ll let you know as soon as we have the first voiceover complete.
In the meantime, we could use your help! First, we’re looking for potential funders who could support us in the next phase of development. If you know of foundations or other sources that would be a good fit, please let us know. Second, VB is building an advisory board and we’re actively looking for experts in the following sectors:
- government budget specialists
- education
- statistics
- health care
- design
- data visualization
- new media
- government transparency
- technology
