Mission
Nature & Nurture/Asheville is Personal Chef and Food Advocate, Mike McGirr, and Natasha Watkinson, M.Ed., bringing local organics into the home. We source locally, prepare locally, and connect our clients, the farmers and producers directly to one another through delicious prepared meals, organizational and lifestyle consulting - all delivered directly to homes and offices. Delicious prepared foods, kitchen consulting, and the missing link- a tidy, well functioning home; all work together to bring more peace, health, and harmony to your whole life.

Mike McGirr and Natasha Watkinson, M.Ed address the diet, home, and well-being of busy clients looking to improve their lives. Their immediate focus is on the following:
- Prepared Meals: Enjoy a meal at home, in minutes, made with the best our region has to offer in farm fresh produce, meats and dairy. Customize your order for dietary categories like allergies, tastes or philosophies. Fridge and freezer ready.
- Kitchen & Pantry Consultation and Conversion: Have a fridge, freezer, pantry or kitchen cabinet that is disorganized, overwhelming or just aggravating? We'll be glad to get it in order, and your stress will melt away...

Getting more farm fresh food to more homes, to prosper more farmers- CRYOVAC to the rescue!
Why We Need This
We're doing a whole lot on very little, and really need a Cryovac system to lock in freshness, extend shelf-life and re-heat in the most economical manner. Local organics aren't subsidized like corporate, factory foods, but are far superior to them. Help us get more amazing products, from local Farmers, Ranchers and Dairies, packaged perfectly!

The logistics of delivering food (transportation costs, kitchen rental, and legal aspects) are all elements that continue to challenge our budgets and planning.
Expanding our offerings of locally sourced, beautiful food that meets the tastes, needs, and budgets of the community is a big task. Our relationships with farmers, other producers and supporters give us a great foundation, but building is incremental, as we're dependent on nature as much as nurture.
Being funded for our packaging will greatly reduce our stress, costs and waste, and increase efficiency, so we can focus more on variety than conveyance.
