Hey Ocean!: We like to write songs that make people feel good!
HEY EVERYBODY!
This is Ashleigh, Dave & Dave from Hey Ocean!
We
have always dreamed of touring the world, but for as long as we can
remember we’ve been told to wait. The thing is after 7 years as a band
we’ve grown tired of waiting around for the right moment and we know
that our fans around the world feel the same.
So
we figure we can make this dream a reality through the support of
everyone who has made our career possible since day one: our family,
friends, and fans. (that’s you!)
That’s
the amazing thing about crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter. They
allow us to speak directly to you and offer really cool swag/experiences
in return for your support.
Your
pledges will be helping us pay for our big tour expenses like plane
tickets, gear rentals, van rentals, hotels and more over the next year
or so of touring internationally. We can’t promise that we’ll make it
everywhere right away, but the more money we raise the more places we can go!
We’ve
started with a minimum goal of $30,000 and we’ve come up with a pretty
sweet list of stuff for anyone who pledges. For those of you who aren’t
familiar with how this works, if we don’t reach our goal we don’t get
any money so every dollar counts!

don’t forget that we’re counting on YOU to spread the word! Even if you

A Day With The Band We’ll show you (or you and a friend) around our beautiful city of Vancouver. We’ll bike around Stanley Park, head up the mountain, check out the beaches, science world, the aquarium, cook you dinner and give you a private acoustic concert at one of our homes. (If you are not from Vancouver you must cover your own flight and accommodations.)
