post-mortem thanks!
Hello all!
first off, thanks EVERYONE for the kind and inspiring feedback and cheers on the project.
with that said, this was an excellent learning experience for me, and in light of this, i will have to probably seek multiple funding sources for the amps, so i will be putting the word out amongst the portland oregon investment community to get funding going locally, depending on outcome i might re-do another kickstarter to part fund if investments cannot cover the whole run.
the GOOD news for you guys is that i will still be making the existing andromeda 20 and KT88 amps, and i will have a bunch of amps coming up for sale shortly. you can email me at info@hovercraftamps.com or just 'like' us on facebook for updates (we mostly post on FB)
bass players, i havent forgotten about you, i have a couple other irons in the fire that might hopefully knock your socks off.
european people: vintagegitar.no is willing to broker shipping to the EU for you, so you might want to get in contact with them to enquire about rates for our amps, i'd love to get you in front of one. that side of the pond is too quiet! email them at post@vintagegitar.no
ok thats all i got, thanks again, and i really want everyone who wants one of these amps to get their hands on and make some thick sound happen.
also, just a quick story the guys from celestion speakers hung out at our booth last weekend, and they stayed for over 30 minutes demoing the andromeda 20 SN11, and the feedback was that we knocked it out of the park, and they were blown away with what the amp can do.. that was very nice to hear from guys that deal with guitar sound every day..
