after remaking, recycling and restoring a TON of amps for people that love them... we have decided to really go after making amps for people that love thick, heavy, organic guitar tone, as we cannot find, restore, and remake enough amps to keep up with current demand. 

each one of our current production recycled amps ends up being sold within 24 hours of its release.

hovercraft is dedicated to making each amp unique to its owner. we make each one different so that no two amps end up the same. a bespoke stoner rock amp, if you will. 

this is what one version of the amp run will look like:

this project is funding a run of KT88 powered stoner / retro heavy rock amps for people that love the sound of, but cannot afford, such amazing vintage amps as:

once the project is funded, the production of the amps will commence, and depending on backer level, thats what kind of amp and/or cabinet you will receive. the amps will be shipped directly to backers from our shop in portland, oregon, or may be picked up in person. 

the remainder of the amps not pre-owned by backers will be offered for a projected price of less than $950 USD to the general public. its entirely possible this run of amps may be pre-sold and not hit the general market at all. which would make this the largest privately funded run of guitar amps in the history of music, if not the world. 

the attached video is of our most popular current amp. the 20 watt 'Andromeda 20' which is an 2xEL84 tube guitar amp.
