Yeah, it was referred to as the 5 second incident wherever it was mentioned, not just on page 12. There were a few other times later in the book. You also refer to Milo Anderson with the name Milo Beetleman on page 102 in the Hero System rules section. I'm guessing this might have been leftover from a prior version that you pulled a lot of the rules text from where there was an example character with a different name. Other than that, it was mostly just minor things like typos, missing commas, a few small grammar things, etc. Given how quickly you guys got the book together, it's really not bad at all.

You are absolutely correct. That's entirely my fault, though in my own defense I will point out that neither Larry nor anyone else who reviewed that material caught the error either. I guess we all had five seconds on the brain for some reason.
I'll see if we can correct that before printing.

There is an error on page 12 of the PDF, it says 5 second incident. It was 5 minuites. Time reset from 2:39 to 2:34. You can check on page 544 of Monster Hunter International. I wasn't the only one who found this.

A quick tip if you're having problems: when the PDF download site asks for User Name, remember to use the answer you gave to the "E-Mail for Download" question on the backer survery, all lowercase. So if you answered ElfBaby@EXAMPLE.com you should enter elfbaby@example.com when logging in. If you don't remember your survey response, you can find it by looking in the reward column for your pledge level, then click "Your response."
Some people are trying their kickstarter email address instead, which doesn't work unless that's what you also answered on the survey. (You may ask why didn't we just use your kickstarter email address? Because you can change that anytime, whereas survey answers are forever.)

Mark -- we don't need to do that. The "Dashboard" feature on Kickstarter tells us exactly where every backer came to the project from. So we've already got that info at our fingertips. It's just one of many useful tools KS provides to project creators.

I'd like to make a quick suggestion, while I'm thinking about it. I made some posts about MHI on different forums, RPG.net and a video game site, Evil Avatar. It would be interesting to ask in the survey where each person heard about the MHI Kickstarter. Some feedback as to which advertising venues were effective would be useful info, methinks.

YourSword -- I can't say for certain, but we'll probably send the survey out in the relatively near future. Most of the data can wait, but we need to figure out how many dice to order soon, because the manufacturing and shipping process takes several months.
Eric -- please send me a private message about this so I can gather your data and make sure we don't overlook this. We can probably arrange to get the additional amount from you via Paypal so that you get your extras.
Cathy -- the way I'm going to word the survey would probably remind you, but regardless, we're not going to wait until next year to send the survey out (see above).

YourSword -- yes, we plan to produce a Character Pack for the book for Hero Designer. We decided it would be best not to confuse backers at this stage by mentioning HD or things like Character Packs that they might not be able to use. I'll cover the whole subject more fully in a future update.

Do you think Larry will considered plugging the RPG in the back of his books? I have seen a lot of ads placed on the last page of books for other works by an author so was just wondering.
