About this project
KICK START ME if you want to hear a funky, funny, crazy, lyrical, experimental cellist get down with some conn-o-sax and DRUMS!
On March 5th, 2010 I will be going into the studio here in Louisiana with two fabulous musicians from New Orleans: Tim Green on tenor saxophone, conn-o-sax and tamborine and Doug Garrison on drums and percussion. I am producing my first improvised Trio CD.
We had an awesome house concert last night with an audience of radio DJ's, musicians and fans that were excited about the music.
I need to raise $2000 - that is half of the total costs but I that will help me get this project off the ground. The money will go towards paying the musicians what they deserve as well as for quality studio time at the fabulous Piety Studio Recording Studio in New Orleans.
To get the word out, I will send out requests to all my 1,400 facebook friends/fans; send an email to my mailing list - about 200 people; also spread the word at the several shows I do each week - my shows average 30-75 people each time and of course all of you that READ THIS and pitch in -- CHECK OUT MY REWARDS!

This will be my first self-produced improvised cello album and I have played and studied with some of the greatest musicians in New Orleans for seven years - I am confident that there are enough music lovers out there who would like to see a project like this materialize!! I can't wait to get this music into your hands!
