Update #5: Amazing News: Two Angel Matchers Will Match Your Donation
During the last 36 hours of this campaign (about 12 hours ago), Rosalie Gale of http://unanimouscraft.com announced that she would match any donations to the Print CROQ #12 fundraiser that were made in the name of Unanimous Craft - what awesome news. I am so touched by this gesture and by the supportiveness and kindness of the craft scene. I have never been disappointed by the generosity of crafty folks!

Then, this morning, Rachel Johnson of http://swapbot.com announced that she would match the last $60 in pledges that came in. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Dollar-Store-Crafts/161233564682#!/Swapbot
I can't explain how amazing it is to be supported by these two women. Thank you both so much, and thanks to those who have taken them up on their generous offers!
We only need $60 in additional pledges. We can do it!

Update #4: 2 Days Left, $400 needed, new reward added
Hi friends! Thanks for supporting our project. It's been so awesome to get each pledge. I can't wait until we get our full funding so I can send out thank you notes to each of you!
We have 71 hours left until our deadline, and we need to raise just over $400. Please let your friends, twitter and facebook followers know about this project!
I also added a new reward to tempt backers to pledge: for a pledge of $26, you get: A "Make Your Own Lipbalm" kit with pre-made meltable vegan lip balm base, flavor oil, and 10 empty lip balm tubes, all packaged in a convenient takeout container. Plus all the above (a tube of vegan lip balm, a thank you on our site, a copy of the zine).
Update #3: Over 50% raised - 2 weeks left
Hi Friends and Supporters!
We have already raised over 50% of our $2000 goal for printing CROQ zine! We have just 15 days to go, and we still need to raise over $900. If you have a minute, can you tweet or blog about our project and tell your friends why you are supporting us?
Here's a tweet you can copy and paste (fill in the blank with your own reason): I pledged $ to help Print CROQ 12 because [I love reading crafty zines!] http://bit.ly/az39UV
Thank you so much for your support, both financial and emotional. I appreciate each of you so much!
Heather
Update #2: Some photos to entice you
Here's a teeny version of the Craft Bag o' Fun, a couple of stripey varieties of lip balm, and some of the covers of the CROQ back issues...
I thought of some good lip balm flavors, too. How about Pumpkin Latte or Red Velvet Cake?
Thank you so much to everyone who has pledged! We're 37% of the way there!
Update #1: Thanks - 21% so far!
Thanks to all my friends who have pledged so far. I think 21% in 4 days is amazing! I appreciate it so much!
