Help us print this established independent magazine devoted to crafts and indie business. Donate to get handmade stuff!
CROQ zine is an independent magazine that was founded in 2005 by a group of crafters who wanted to read about crafting, running a crafty business, and articles about living a creative life (we just couldn't find that zine, so we started our own!) Eleven issues later, we need your help! The zine content is written, the layout is done; we just need funds to print it.
Your support will go toward printing costs for 1000 copies of this issue (on recycled paper), plus shipping costs to our subscribers. We also plan on donating a large number of this issue to public libraries that support zines as well as zine libraries.
We've put together a package of attractive support options with lots of handmade goodies to tempt you!
About this issue: The theme for this issue is Art School Confidential. We have interviews with several crafty businesswomen about how their art education (or lack thereof) impacts their business. Enjoy a comic by Carolyn Belefski of http://www.curls-studio.com/, and articles about: Men who Quilt, Chickens in the City, several craft project tutorials, and lots more!
