About this project
Fresh songs are written. The studio is set and the musicians are ready. The final element needed to get these newer songs onto a quality recording and into your hands is the financial backing.
It's been over two years since we released the initial "Heatherlyn" record and an eventful two years it has been! Since then, I've written numerous songs, hoping to reflect the human story we share and hoping to inspire living out together values of hope and compassion, hoping to inspire courageously crossing boundaries and building genuine community.
Last year, Jason and I resigned our "9 to 5" jobs so that we could be available to travel, taking the music and it's message around the country. Along the way, here and there, many have asked something like: "When is the next album coming out?" and "Is that song Rosebud or Put on Your Climbing Shoes - are they on the album you have available?" They aren't available to take home right now and we think it's about time to make that happen! Other songs included in the line up for this project are Be the Love, Peace on Earth, Wayfaring Stranger, When I Dream, and more.
I am so excited to be working with Producer Matt Patrick on this record at The Library Recording Studio in Minneapolis >> http://www.mattpatrickproduction.blogspot.com/. He and I have already sat down with the songs to arrange them for full band. His creative vision and instrumental insight are breathing new life into my work. He has a lot of skill and he's really fun to work with as well. We are also thrilled and honored to employ some really incredible, dedicated, gifted full-time LIVE and studio musicians based here in the Twin Cities. All of these players are pros and they need to get paid.
A goal of $14,500 may seem like an audacious goal but studio time, mixing, quality production, professional musicians and environmentally responsible replication and packaging...all of these cost a pretty penny. We certainly know, we cannot do this alone. So here we are on Kickstarter - a platform for pledges, designed to involve as many people as possible to turn the vision into tangible reality.
Here's the deal: IT'S ALL OR NOTHING.
IF, AND ONLY IF we reach our goal within 40 days, we receive the pledged funding and this project moves forward. If we DON'T reach our goal...well, we'll have to come up with a plan B, and then who knows how long it will take to get this next record out. So let's make this happen!

If you live in another part of the world, we would love to come and will likely do so, if you and yours are able to cover all travel and lodging expenses!

In concert, Heatherlyn leads participants on a refreshing journey of connection - from whimsical laughter together to deeper thoughtfulness about life and love, considering how we each are conduits of peace and hope in our world.
Heatherlyn likes to travel; create natural, nourishing and detectable meals; listen to stories and tell some too. She says her favorite moments are "when I can't stop laughing and my gut hurts because of it" and also "when I get to see someone being their true, authentic selves, unabashedly shining their unique light, sharing their gifts to be an enriching, loving presence to all around them."
