Heartbeater needs your assistance in recording and releasing our debut full length record "Slow Waves." The album will be released on vinyl!
Greetings everyone!
We are about to start recording our first full length album, "Slow Waves" and WE NEED YOUR HELP to make it all happen.
Here's our plan for the recording and release of "Slow Waves" :
1. Tracking for the album will begin in early March with engineer Marc Primeau at Toybox Studio in East Nashville. Marc recorded our self titled EP last April and did an amazing job.
(Update): The recording process has begun. We plan to have the album completed by March 21st!

2. Once we finish tracking, Marc will spend the next month editing and mixing the record to perfection.
3. In early April, we will have the album mastered at Lake Fever Productions. (check out their website here: http://www.lakefeverproductions.com)
4. Also in April, we will have the album artwork screen printed by our good friends at Grand Palace Silkscreen. (Check out some of the fantastic prints Grand Palace has to offer: http://grandpalace.us/wp/grand-palace-silkscreen/)
5. The final step is very exciting for us and should be for you too! We're going to have 300 copies pressed to high quality(150 gram) vinyl by United Record Pressing. United is one of the last record pressing plants in the country and we're very proud to have it in our home town of Nashville. (Check out United here: http://www.urpressing.com/)
The whole process will take roughly 3 months to complete. We're lucky to have close friends working with us who don't expect money up front, and we're extremely thankful for the opportunity.
This is where we need your help.
Here's a basic financial breakdown for you to review:
- Studio time, mixing, mastering: $1,300
- Vinyl pressing of 300 records at United: $1,300
- Album Artwork, packaging, and screen printing: $600
Total expenses: $3,200
Although the costs we have listed exceed the amount of our goal, we feel comfortable that $3,000 would put us in reach and make this album come to fruition.
