About this project

We are raising the funds to create www.hearmyhands.tv, a website that will feature video segments to provide information to the Deaf community on various topics.
$25,000 will cover the start up and sustain this project for the first 3 months.

We plan to produce a new video segment each week on one of the following: health, business, kids, home, or pets. Each segment will feature a Deaf reporter on camera and will include: American Sign Language, voice-over and captioning.

These online video segments will bring Information that will be useful to the Deaf Community and presented in the language of the Deaf Community, American Sign Language.

We believe having the site up and running for 3 months will be sufficient time for us to build a following and seek out other sponsorship opportunities to keep the project running.

Our goal is to raise $25,000. Think about this....If 1000 people each donate $25 we reach our goal!

If 500 people donate $50 we reach our goal!

We think you get the idea.

$25,000 may sound like a lot, but we are actually working from a bare bones budget. Each week we will need a Producer/Videographer, Deaf Reporter, Lead Interpreter, Assistant Interpreter, Editor and Voice-over talent to complete each video segment.

The segments will start out being shot in Orlando but we plan to establish Production teams around the country to cover topics in their area as we grow. When we dream, we dream big!
