Can someone do me a favour and measure the height, width and depth of a tuckbox please? In millimetres preferably, but yards, nautical miles or angstroms will be fine as well... ;-)

My deck of CPU Wars cards dropped onto my desk this afternoon so woo hoo! Then I realised I had no one to play it with as I am the only geek who works here :( So I played against myself and guess what? I WON!

Cheers Harry - You Sir are a star!

      Hi Rich,

Unfortunately I can't resend the request. Please check your spam folder in case those sneaky scripts thought it was spam. If you can't find the email with the survey then send me a message with all your details.

      Thanks,

I just realized that I never received a survey from you. Was it supposed to come to my email account? Please let me know, thanks.

Teik you are right. When we did the various versions it crossed my mind to mirror the logo but there is no reason. You will always hold them in the upright way :)

    18. Topcat-717092.thumb
Teik Chooi Oh on December 30

I was going to suggest what eltor0pt said but have also realised that due to nature of the card front, folks will be only holding them up in the upright way to read ie not left upside down.

If you do put every other line upside down for this reason, you also need to put a mirror 'coloured CPU wars' on bottom left so that both positions is reflected.

    19. Fb_profile_picture.thumb
      eltor0pt on December 30

I mean "put"... Like, in a way you can read "CPU Wars" in either position...

    20. Fb_profile_picture.thumb
      eltor0pt on December 30

About the card back, you should out every other line upside down...

Hey i just filled out the survey but i was a little confused at the question that asked for the URL of the thank you page. what does that mean?

    28. Pamps.thumb
      Harry Mylonadis on December 26

Daniel, you can get it later when it's available online. At least now you are part of the family and will find out about promotions, giveaways etc ;)

      Chris Chappell on December 23

Hi Harry, I have pledged on behalf of my brother as he's a proper geek and I am merely a trainee. I've got it for him for Christmas as I know he'll love the idea of backing this project as well as the actual game. Will I be able to change it so that he is on the thank you page and has access to the FB page and the blog?

    34. Pamps.thumb
      Harry Mylonadis on December 22

Thanks for pointing out Teik! I always had in my mind to post on BGG when the game will launch but didn't think of posting for the campaign. I will do it now.

    39. Pamps.thumb
      Harry Mylonadis on December 18

@josebasubi Thanks! I really wanted to make it easy for everyone and fair wherever you are in the world. I'm doing this to cover the costs (not make profit) so I thought that free shipping was essential.
For the bigger packs, that's where booster packs come in. You will then be able to turn a 30-card deck into 50,60,70 cards :)
About the more items, I'm cooking something based on the ideas and feedback I have received. I will solidify the idea over Christmas and then open it to feedback.

    40. Pamps.thumb
      Harry Mylonadis on December 18

@Kevin I spent a lot of hours trying to decide which CPUs I will feature. It was a very difficult task...
That's why I decided to allow for add-ons and booster packs. This way I can expand the existing versions with new processors and also chips that didn't make it in the first run :) In January I will be in touch with everyone with new ideas.

    41. Zoidberg.thumb
      josebasubi on December 18

The free shipping is really a courtesy. Count me in for a GPU version. Also, in the next deck release It would be nice to get more cards in a row like 50 instead of 30 and get more items (processors, gpus...) covered.

Hi I'm Harry. I'm a tech geek that started learning programming at the age of 10 in BASIC using an 8086 PC. Since then I have worked in Tech, got a Computer Engineering degree, moved to management, started my own company and have now landed in practicing branding and simplicity.
I love games, especially board and card games. Nothing beats being in the same room with my fellow geeks and doing a victory dance when I win.
