About this project

It has been three years since we released our last album. We have spent the last few years touring (we had the privilege of sharing the stage with the likes of Mates Of State, Manchester Orchestra, and Fun), writing (Check out the Song Of The Day series), finishing school, and even having a kid. Now - it is time to finally record a new album. We decided to enlist the help of Kevin Dailey and Micah Tawlks to produce the album after recording a new song with them titled 'Run My Way' (stream/download HERE ). We feel it is the best thing we have done and are very excited about recording a full album with them.
Instead of waiting another year or so to raise enough money to record by working in between tours or convincing the label to loan us the money, we decided to explore the option of crowd-funding via Kickstarter and enlisting the help and support of our friends, family and fans.
We have put together some really great reward packages for those that are willing to donate your hard earned money to help us make this album a reality. THE SURVIVALIST is the man (or woman) who travels lightly and needs nothing more than the bare necessities. They live on beef jerky and the morning dew. For any contribution of $10 or more, The Survivalist will receive:

1.) A digital download of the album 'American Thunder' one week prior to the release date.

THE TRADITIONALIST is the man (or woman) who fears change. They like things the way they were and the way they've always been, well for the last twenty years or so. They don't know what the heck an iPod is much less an m3p or the twittertube. They want a CD so they can put it in their Discman and walk to the mall for an Orange Julius and a game Frogger at the arcade. For any contribution of fifteen dollars or more, The Traditionalist will receive:

1.) Everything for The Survivalist.

2.) A CD version of the album, 'American Thunder' signed by the band, shipped to your door.

THE ENTHUSIAST is the woman (or man) who doesn't like music, they love it. They don't listen, they LISTEN. For the person who wants to say "That band wouldn't be there if it weren't for me." "I'm with the band." "I knew them before they played Johnny Carson". For any contribution of $30 dollars or more The Enthusiast will receive:

1.) Everything for The Survivalist and The Traditionalist

2.) A T-Shirt that is hand-printed by the band that says "I am Harrison Hudson's Executive Producer." We want to make sure everyone knows how much you've helped us. This shirt will be a limited and numbered run and will never be printed again after the pre-order closes.

3.) A sampler of Harrison Hudson songs from previous albums hand picked by the band!

THE FANATIC is the man (or woman) who scoffs at The Enthusiast for their lack of true adoration. You've got the band's faces glued onto a Jonas Brother's poster that hangs above your bed. You've seen the band play more than they have. You not only want to wear your pride of the band, you want to carry around a miniature billboard with you. You have a record collection and even a record player. You laugh at people with "computers" and useless modern inventions like the automobile. You ride your fixed gear bike to the local record shop because Best Buy's corporate atmosphere makes your aura want to puke! Well your day has come. For a contribution of $50 or more The Fanatic will receive:

1.) Everything for The Survivalist, The Traditionalist and The Enthusiast.

2.) A Limited Pressing (only 250 made) of 'American Thunder' on 12" Vinyl. This is hand screened cover art that is unique from the CD art and the pressing will never be made again. For the true collector

THE STALKER is the man (or hopefully woman) that considers The Fanatic to be amateur on a good day. You've got the Jonas Brother's Faces glued onto a Harrison Hudson poster. The Stalker wants to be personally close to the band. They want to know for a fact that the band really is sending them and only them secret messages in their songs. "KILL GUMBY!" "KILL GUMBY!" They want to talk to the band one on one and pick their set list. They want a large sampling of Harrison's handwriting so that they can memorize it, learn it and perfect it to their own. That way they can write themselves love notes and believe they're actually from Harrison. They are The Stalker, the true sign that any musician is on his way to the big time. For a contribution of $75 or more The Stalker will receive:

1.) EVERYTHING for the The Survivalist, The Traditionalist, The Enthusiast and The Fanatic.

2.) A notebook full of handwritten lyrics by Harrison with notes and thoughts on each and every song on the album. Plus a personal thank you note from the band. Truly a one of a kind.
