Hey Callum, it was shipped on Feb. 8 and once it leaves the hands of Trigger Happy, they are like a black jack dealer at shift change! OUT OF OUR HANDS! They have no record of contact (whatever that means) so it is all on your buddy! Almost 60 days in shipping, it will get there someday!
I call BS here. I have seen a few responses from Kevin saying "It was shipped..." but yet people are not getting anything.
I think it is about time for all us unhappy customers to approach the Better Business Bureau and end this madness.

Sigh. Things just keep getting worse.
Long story short. The cable is not working. Updated the software for Andriod. Connected to my Nikon D90 from my HTC Sensation and pretty much nothing is happening. Except for the "push to shoot" that acts like I'm pressing and releasing the shutter button to focus very quickly.
In short. The product is not delivering the goods. Been trying on various days to rule out stupidity on my side (since you hinted that we know jack about photography) and no joy.
So I want a refund... Let me know what I must do to make it happen.

I like checking in on this place to get a laugh, it never lets me down. the survey seems to have been a joke. The whole project is pretty much a train wreck. I cannot believe there are people that have waited almost a year an not receive their cable yet! WOW!

100% right Frank! I had a defective cable delivered that is 180 degrees off, won't secure to the camera and renders the body lens release button useless is not my camera body fault but a design defect that he has never addressed by sending a new cable that will work. For my 10+ email contacts I've received 2 useless replies and nothing after filling out the survey.

Kevin...what good is a survey (yes I filled that out too) when you are not even taking care of those who have voiced their concerns without a survey. In good faith I helped fund your project. But what was advertised is not what I received. I understand you have problems. But you have to do what is right. Either deliver what you promised with an update to the app or refund my money. I have no hard feelings. But if you don't do the right thing, then you deserve all that you are now getting. That's just the way it is. Considering you only wanted 25k and received more than that, you need to do the right thing.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand that you have encountered some problems with the Trigger Happy® camera remote and app, specifically with the HDR features.
We imagine that with the shots of the sunset you're experiencing problems with the sub 1 second shutter speeds. Unfortunately for many pro series camera bodies, the shutter speeds from our camera remote is only accurate to about 1/20 of a second (at times 1/10 of a second) because the camera manufacturer interfaces don't allow for as accurate sub second exposures. We suggest using a multiple stop ND filter to compensate for your exposure.

Well...sadly I have to join the many unsatisfied customers. I bought this for HDR work and it does not work. I have tried being nice and submitted a support request. Nothing. I have asked here. Nothing. I have been respectful and I have been considerate. But now I feel like everyone else. Stuck with something I can't even use. It saddened me. I paid the price, I waited for the cable and now I can't even use it because nobody can get back to me.

Reason why you never heard anything from me until yesterday was because I had been relatively patient. When I came to the page and saw the other comments, I thought it was outrageous that you were getting away with neglecting so many people. Ok these guys have gotten a lot of crud from everyone about getting their reward lately and It's time I spoke up too. I haven't funded many projects, but at least I know a little about manufacturing and start-ups. I give these guys a big "HURRAH!" for taking on that challenge. I had to wait a little longer than I thought to get my remote, but it does exactly what it says it'll do. Honestly, I like the product and i'd back it again. Trying to start a company itself is a huge undertaking. Doing it with what looks like a handful of college kids with little to no previous experience is incredible. I'm impressed with this Kevin. Albeit the project has taken a little while to get going, it's a neat idea and it works! Sure, you gave the kids 50 bucks to help them get started and they promised they'd send you a cable. Do you really think they just took your money and ran? Any sane human being knows this isn't true. I'm sure they're doing what they say they're doing, that is, trying to get everyone their remote. For you people who put threats on a forum/comments board, perhaps trying to contact these people directly would be more productive than telling them you'll find them and break their legs. It's a novel idea I know, but it works.

The handling of this project is a feking joke. No update since September, people below complaining of faulty devices, some not received any at all... I'm quite convinced that what Mr Harrington is doing is illegal: he's taken money from you and not delivering what you paid for with no explanation.
Mr Harrington, I'm talking directly to you: you have 72 hours to provide a meaningful explanation for the delays, or I'm going to bring this to the full attention of the press, camera manufacturers, potential wholesale retailers, BBB and explore potential litigation routes. Think I'm kidding? Wait 73 hours and find out.

If anyone got the HDR feature to work, please contact me Frank at 561-732-1414. I am doing a typical set up of a sunset in a wetlands area here in Florida. I have it set to bulb as it must be to work. I have it set to 7 shots with a 1 EV each shot. However, it does fine on over exposed end of the spectrum but not the other end for ie a blue sky and sun exposure. I have tried everything and it still does not work.
