Harmonia New Album-Coming Soon
Dear Fans,
You have told us you want more of our music - now the wait
is almost over. Harmonia is excited to present a new CD of Folk & Gypsy Music from Eastern Europe, which will be
released at the beginning 2012! We have added more great music to our repertoire –
which will leave your feet tapping and your soul soaring. It is because of fans
like you that we continue to share our love of East European folk music.
Now you have the opportunity to be part of the first group
of music lovers to get your own copy of our new CD. The music has all been recorded; were are in the mixing and mastering process right now. To help cover manufacturing and production
costs, we are asking for your help to support us in our new endeavor.

Harmonia presents the traditional folk music of eastern Europe, ranging from the Danube to the Carpathians. Its repertoire reflects the cultures of this region: Hungarian, Slovak, Ukrainian, Romanian, Croatian and Gypsy. Performing on authentic folk instruments, and styled after turn of the century East-European Gypsy bands, their music is drawn from both the urban and rural traditions of Eastern-Europe. The ensemble's performances evoke the full range of human emotions; interspersing fiery, passionate virtuosity with soulful melancholy and nostalgic yearning. They have been called "obscenely talented" by the Folklore society of Washington D.C. and "a musical gem" by National Public Radio.
